There are no shortcuts

"There are no shortcuts."

That's what David (DHH) said in the last interview with The Primeagen and TJ DeVries.

The context? What is the biggest problem for programmers entering the job market?

In the last few years, we have seen several 'shortcuts' being sold as silver bullets.

And for some people, these shortcuts worked!

But many are disappointed when they don't earn 10k in 6 months, or become senior in 2 years.

The truth is that there really are no shortcuts. It takes patience, persistence, and sometimes, surrounding yourself with the right people too.
